Jeanna Bradle
Freeman

Class of 2006

Jeanna Bradle was a record-setting Green Wave gymnast who vaulted to the heights of South-West Conference, state and New England competition.

A prodigy from her freshman debut, Jeanna employed her talents across the spectrum of gymnastics events.  She earned her team’s MVP award all four years and was an all-South-West Conference athlete three straight years.

While evolving as a fine leader and role model to her teammates, Jeanna captured three state class event titles and twice was the SWC all-around champion.

Along the way, she proved a valuable point producer for the Green Wave, achieving the rarified 1,000-point plateau. Throughout her NMHS tenure, Jeanna was a consistent state contender and placed fourth all-around at the state open meet in her junior and senior campaigns.

She climaxed her high school career by stealing the show as a senior at the state class meet with an unprecedented state record mark of 9.9 in the vault. Jeanna soon matched that lofty standard in vaulting at the New England meet en route to third place all-around.

By the time Jeanna had taken her gymnastics skills to Springfield College, she had established Green Wave records of 9.9 in vaulting and 9.7 on the balance beam that still stood at the time of her induction.
