Athletic Hall of Fame Club

Dear friend of New Milford High School athletics,

The New Milford High School Athletic Hall of Fame hosted its inaugural induction banquet Oct. 28, 2017 at Fairview Farm Golf Course in Harwinton.

Twelve coaches and athletes representing a span of nearly 100 years of Green Wave sports were honored as our first class, including iconic coach/athletic director Joseph Wiser and legendary coaches Russell Devin and Fran Zaloski, as well as nine exceptional athletes ranging from Fred Collins, Class of 1933, to Ashley O’Connor, Class of 2010.

We hosted our second annual induction banquet on Oct. 27, 2018 at Fairview when we honored a dozen more athletes, ranging from Alfred "Sonny" Zaloski, Class of 1947, to Conor Kirkegard, Class of 2012.

Our third class of 12 inductees, crossing the years from the late Sam Blackman, Class of 1956, to Emma Crowcroft, Class of 2009, were inducted Nov. 2, 2019.

Our fourth induction banquet will be Oct. 21, 2023 at Fairview Farm. The NMHS AHOF board would announce our next class of inductees months in advance of the banquet.

We are a non-profit, 501(c) (3) organization and hope you will join us in our quest to honor the finest of Green Wave athletes, coaches and teams. Toward that goal, we have created the New Milford High School Athletic Hall of Fame Club.

For your tax-exempt contributions, club members will receive numerous benefits, in addition to the satisfaction of helping the AHOF to continue our efforts to honor Green Wave sports’ very best.

Among the benefits:

1) Members’ names will be listed in the induction banquet program booklet

2) Major donors will receive priority signup for each year’s induction banquet and invitations to the pre-banquet reception for AHOF inductees

3) Members will receive the NMHS AHOF’s annual letter
